Bullying No Way

PublishingPageContent
There is no place for bullying at Miami SS. Bullying, harassment, discrimination and violence are all interpersonal behaviours that can create or contribute to negative social environments. Sadly, research suggests that many young people who experience bullying may tell no one. If you believe your child is experiencing any form of bullying please contact he school.

You may also refer cases of bullying to the school by using the I'm Worried About Report (PDF, 87K) .   Once completed please email the report to the Principal (the.principal@miamiss.eq.edu.au) or return it to the letterbox in the library on the next school day.

IS IT BULLYING?
·       When someone says or does something UNINTENTIONALLY hurtful and they do it once, that’s rude.
·       When someone says or does something INTENTIONALLY hurtful and they do it once, that’s mean.
·       When someone says or does something INTENTIONALLY hurtful and they keep doing it, even when you tell them to stop or show them that you’re upset, that’s BULLYING.

At Miami SS we explore various types of behaviours with our students to ensure positive social interactions.

·       Speak Firmly
·       Report
