Students interested in a School Captain Leadership position present a speech in front of Year 4 and 5 students and staff, submit a nomination form and participate in an interview with a panel of staff and P&C representatives near the end of Term 4. All other students interested in a Leadership position submit a nomination form and participate in an interview.

Student council

The Student council was first formed in 2006. Since this time it has been involved in many fundraising events both for the school and different community charities.  It is annually involved in the 40 Hour World Vision Famine and Day for Daniel just to name a few. The Student council has bought many resources for the library and PE department as well as installing the school flag poles. In 2014 they purchased sporting house banners for the Hall and also a statue for the school garden.
