P&C

​​The Miami SS Parents & Citizens' Associations (P&Cs) is a valued part of our school communities. The P&C play an important role in supporting the school's operations, strengthening community connections, and enhancing outcomes for students.

Our P&C is made possible through the involvement of parents, carers, volunteers, and community members. Your participation—whether large or small—contributes meaningfully to the success of our school and the experiences of our students. Research consistently demonstrates that active family engagement in education leads to improved student learning, wellbeing, and overall school outcomes.

Our Purpose

The P&C works in partnership with the school to:

• Promote the interests of the school community
• Support the continuous development and improvement of the school
• Encourage parent and community participation
• Strengthen collaboration between parents, students, and staff
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture

Key Functions of the P&C

• The P&C undertakes a range of functions, including:
  Fostering interest and involvement in educational matters within the broader community
• Encouraging strong partnerships between parents, carers, staff, students, and community members
• Working collaboratively with the Principal and school leadership team
  Contributing to, or supporting the provision of, financial and other resources to enhance student learning and school facilities
